9/01/2019 Montreal. Canada: ABG Systems, an Italian leader in logistics traceability, incorporating the use of RFID based technology, and automated distributions of textiles for both healthcare and industrial sectors, opens a new branch in North America.

The new entity, based in Montreal, Canada, will trace the growing path of the company throughout Canada and the United States.

David Schreiner, founding partner and former Executive Vice President of MIP Inc., will be the President of ABG Systems North America, and will lead the new subsidiary, applying his years of expertise within the industrial laundry industry and his deep knowledge gained whilst servicing the healthcare sector during his thirty plus year career.

“The first step toward success is taken when you refuse to be a captive of the environment in which you first find yourself. ABG is such a company and the main reason that I agreed to undertake this challenge” noted David Schreiner

ABG Systems is an Italian company, based in Milan, Italy, strongly focused on innovation and application development of new technologies for the laundry industry, with installations across 23 countries and five continents.

The company has been a market leader in its field for nearly 10 years and is eager to celebrate this important milestone by launching its North American subsidiary.

ABG North America is a fundamental step in the growing path of our company and a significant sign of our market’s international expansion. I met David the first time more than ten years ago and since then I’ve rarely had the opportunity to work with such a well-versed entrepreneur. His experience and vision will be decisive in achieving our medium and long-term objectives. Montreal is located in a strategic position and is a stepping stone to the American market and a huge opportunity for ABG. I’m very happy and excited that our company has reached this important milestone and look forward to working with David to make ABG Systems North America a great success”, concluded Stefano Umili, ABG Systems CEO of the AG Systems Group.
